MHADA form 2008:
As the land-stock of Maharashtra Housing & Area Development Authority or MHADA is perishing, the earlier allotted schemes like the land under SRA or Slum Rehabilitation Authority are being pushed and taken up more strictly in terms of implementation progress. Over 315 acres of land has been identified for development of around 1-lakh flats for in LIG and MIG categories. The MHADA flat rates are decided to be among the affordable range of Rs. 10 lakhs and Rs. 15 lakhs each as announced by MHADA vice-president T Chandrashekhar. The entire project consists of building of over 2 lakhs flats for the lower and middle-income groups in Mumbai and adjacent cities in the coming 4-5 years. The forms for sale of these flats will be available as soon as the new projects are completed and new schemes of MHADA and SRA implemented. The flats slated to be completed in late 2007 have already found buyers and the MHADA form 2008 for the upcoming projects shall soon be announced.
